One of the great actors of the twentieth century, Peter O'Toole was a singular force on the big screen. His career includes memorable roles in Lawrence of Arabia, Becket, A Lion in Winter and My Favorite Year. No competitive Oscar on his shelf, but he is on Great Britain's Mt. Rushmore of all time top actors. The others might include Laurence Olivier, Richard Burton and Alec Guinness. Here is O'Toole's story.
