In the tradition of the Folies Bergere and the Ziegfeld Follies, cinema had their own ideas to present what was referred to as "cheesecake" back in the mid twentieth century. It was also known as a chorus line.
Busby Berkeley offered a bevy of beauties in his 1930s Warner Brothers productions.
